Quadratic Equation
In algebra, a quadratic equation is any equation having the form ( ax² + bx + c = 0 ) where x represents an unknown, and a, b, and c represent known numbers, with a ≠ 0. If a = 0, then the equation is linear, not quadratic. The root is the value of the variable x, turning the quadratic trinomial to zero, and the quadratic equation to the correct numerical equality. Elements of the quadratic equation have their names a - called the first or highest coefficient, b - called the second, average or coefficient at x, c - called a free member. This calculator will help you to solve the quadratic equation.
