Malus law Calculator
Optics
A branch of physics, a science that studies the motion of material bodies and the interaction between them, while motion in mechanics is the change in time of the relative position of bodies or their parts in space.
Malus law
The Malus law is a physical law expressing the dependence of the intensity of linearly polarized light after it passes through the polarizer on the angle φ between the polarization planes of the incident light and the polarizer. It says that the intensity of plane-polarized light as a result of passing through a plane-polarizing filter decreases in proportion to the square of the cosine of the angle between the polarization planes of the incoming light and the filter.
