Electrodynamics
Electrodynamics is a branch of physics that studies the electromagnetic field in the most general case (that is, variable fields depending on time are considered) and its interaction with bodies having an electric charge (electromagnetic interaction).
Lorentz force
The Lorentz force is the force with which the electromagnetic field, according to classical (non-quantum) electrodynamics, acts on a point charged particle. Sometimes the force Lorentz is called the force acting on the charge q moving at a speed V only from the side of the magnetic field, often the total force is from the side of the electromagnetic field in general, in other words, from the side of electric E and magnetic B fields.
