Cube diagonal calculator
Diagonal
Diagonal in geometry, a line segment connecting two non-adjacent vertices of a polygon or polyhedron. The diagonal of a polygon is a line segment connecting its two vertices that do not lie on one side.
Cube
Cube — or regular hexahedron is a regular polyhedron, in which all faces are squares. A cube is a specific case of a box and prism.
Cube diagonal calculator
A cube diagonal is a segment connecting the top of the upper base with the top of the lower base lying opposite, so that the diagonal passes through the inner space of the cube at an angle of 45 degrees. In order to find the diagonal of a cube, it is enough to know its edge. If we draw the diagonal of the lower base from the same vertex as the diagonal of the cube, then we get a right triangle inside the cube whose sides are the edge of the cube, the diagonal of the base and the diagonal of the cube itself.
