Quadrilateral perimeter
Perimeter
Perimeter is the distance around a two-dimensional shape.
Quadrilateral
Quadrilateral — is a geometric figure (polygon), consisting of four points (vertices), none of which lie on one straight line, and four segments (sides) connecting these points in series. Distinguish between convex and non-convex quadrilaterals: a non-convex quadrilateral can be self-intersecting. A quadrangle without self-intersections is called simple. Often the term “quadrangle” refers only to simple quadrangles.
Quadrilateral perimeter
Definition: The perimeter of a quadrilateral is equal to the sum of its four sides.
Formula:P = a+b+c+d
Example: In the example above, we have a quadrilateral with sides a - 15, b - 24, c - 12, d - 10 lengths. So the perimeter P will be: P = a+b+c+d=15+24+12+10 = 61
How to use calculator: To use the calculator, replace the values a, b, c, d with your own, and our calculator will automatically give you an answer.
